SOCIAL CIRCLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING

DECEMBER 21, 2007, 2PM

CONFERENCE ROOM

Mayor Burgess called the meeting to order with the following Council Members present:

David Terry, Angela Porter and Anne Peppers.  Also present were City Manager Doug White and City Clerk Susan Roper.

Council Member Terry made a motion, seconded by Council Member Porter to approve a contract with Sam Malloy for work on the Hester House based on a quote dated 11-26-07 for $68,000.  All were in favor.

Mayor and Council discussed give New Years Eve off since it fell on Monday.  After much discussion Staff was asked to check with other cities to see what holidays that allowed.  In addition Staff asked to research salaries for Mayor and Council.
