SOCIAL CIRCLE CITY COUNCIL

CALLED MEETING 

May 12, 2009, 5:00 PM

Walton County Courthouse

 

Mayor Burgess called the meeting to order with the following Council Members present:

Angela Porter, David Keener and Anne Peppers. Also attending were City Attorney Joe Reitman, City Clerk Susan Roper and City Water Engineer Ronnie Wood, Social Circle Development Authority Grady Lemonds and Debra Smith, Allen-Smith Consulting.

 

Chris H. Atkinson, Burr & Forman LLP went over the MOU for General Mills. 

 

After some discussion regarding item #9 in the MOU, alternate language was agreed on between the City of Social Circle and General Mills. Council Member Keener made a motion, seconded by Council Member Peppers to approve the Memorandum of Understand as amended. All were in favor.

 

Council Member Porter made a motion, seconded by Council Member Peppers to approve a Memorandum of Agreement Regarding Lease Structure and Valuation of Leasehold Interest. All were in favor.
